| At ADD Bible.com, we make sure that this online bible search tool and resource can be used with ease and convenience. This simple guide will show how you can effectively use this site to search for Bible keywords and Bible verses.
Searching for a biblical passage – This is one of the most popular Bible search tools that let you search for exact Biblical scruple or passage. The first section of the Advanced Bible Search box prompts you to select a Bible Version(s) from the dropdown list.
The second section lets you choose or select what part of the Bible or what book of the Bible you want to search for specific passages.
Type the book, chapter, and/or verse at the Enter Passage Box for the passage you would like to look up. For example: John 3:16 .
Once you have entered your biblical passage, click “Search”.
Searching for keywords in the Bible -- This type of advance search functions much like the Passage Search, but allows you to search for words or phrases.
At the Advanced Bible Search box in the ADD Bible Homepage, select from the Bible Version dropdown list what Bible version keyword you wanted to search.
Choose from the Bible Book dropdown list the part of the Bible you would like to search or limit your search for keyword.
To refine your search, select from the search parameters or characteristics options what you exactly want the ADD Bible to search:

Multiword or phrase (Exact)

Type the keyword in the search box of the Advanced Bible Search box. For example: Adam and Eve
Click “Search”, and you will be at the search results page.
Note: Make sure to enter the correct spelling of the keyword or verse that you would like ADD Bible to search.
